Our mission is simple: Point people to Jesus.

We do that both near and far.

We commit 10% of everything given financially to support our local and global mission partners.

In 2022, our church generously gave over $135,000 to support local and global missions!

Jesus said it in Acts 1:8, “Be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

For us, that means we are called to point people to Jesus at home, in our neighborhoods, marketplaces, state, country, and around the world - everywhere to all people!

We are proud to partner in MISSION WITH local ministries, global ministries and missionaries, and by supporting those in our Tree City Church family who are involved in mission opportunities around the Treasure Valley and all over the world. Below are just a few of the ways we are involved through serving, supporting, and praying.

 

Current & Upcoming Opportunities to Mission With One Another and Our Community

Mission With the Valley - March 17-20, 2024

This is a local mission opportunity for our young people in Grades 5-12. 5th-6th Graders will need to have a guardian join them on the team. We are sending this team into the Treasure Valley to partner with local ministries, organizations, and churches to impact our community with the hope of Jesus!

$50 Deposit Due by November 12th.

Mission With Guatemala - June 5-14, 2024

This is a global mission opportunity for Grades 7-Adults. 7th-8th Graders must travel with a guardian. We are sending this team to partner with the Nazarene Bible Institute to break ground on an educational building that will be used to make Christ-like disciples to point people to Jesus in that part of the world!

$150 Deposit Due by November 12th.

  • Boise Rescue Mission Ministries (Help meet physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of homeless and addicted individuals in the Boise & Nampa, ID areas.)

Global Mission Partners

  • Mission With Guatemala (We’ll be sending a team from Tree City Church to partner with the Nazarene Bible Institute in Guatemala in 2024)

  • Global IT (Providing technology and support for missionaries and schools to help make Christ-like disciples across the nations)

Tree City Church was planted in 1903. Since then, it has been our mission to continue the work of making disciples of Jesus through multiplication. One of the most recent and exciting ways we have done that is by helping launch a brand new church in Garden City that exists to Follow Jesus & Live with Purpose in Community.
